I made it!  My goal was to create five card for this month's I Feel The Love Project, Thanksgiving cards for Seniors.  I absolutely love this stamp from A Day for Daisies.  I am sure that I will be using her on several cards in the future.

Native American Tilda Thanksgiving Card for "I Feel The Love Project"

Here is my second card for the I Feel The Love Project.  This month's card request is Thanksgiving cards for seniors.  There is still time to make a card or cards if you would like to bring a smile to a wonderful, older person.

I used Native American Tilda.  Isn't she beautiful?  This is one of the first Magnolia stamps that I bought.  It's hard to believe that it is the first time I used it.

Pure Innocence Thanksgiving for the "I Feel the Love Project"

Hello!   It has been a long time getting back into the swing of things.  We moved and we finally got the craft room organized enough to create in.  It is much smaller than my former craft room, so much of my "stuff" had to be stored.

One thing that I discovered while packing is:  I HAVE TOO MUCH STUFF!  It was really an eye opener.  I am going to try to use what I already have before purchasing too much more.

Before we moved, I knew that I wanted to create most of my cards for a cause or purpose.  I found a wonderful organization, I Feel The Love Project.  It was founded by a wonderful young lady named, Madison.  She finds a new, wonderful cause for all of us to contribute to each month.  This month it is Thanksgiving cards for a senior community.  I have a goal of 5 cards and here is my first one, a sweet little Pure Innocence digi from Heather Ellis's Etsy Store.  She is just too sweet.  I colored her with Copics and paper pieced her dress.

Now if that isn't a happy, wonderful challenge.

Our fantastic sponsor is Just Some Lines.  Oh my goodness!  They have the most adorable images.  A huge thank you to them for their generosity for sponsoring this challenge.

This too sweet image is called Fairy Kiss.  She certainly fits the challenge because just looking at her will bring a smile to your face and lift your spirits.

I Feel The Love Project for Ashley

This is part two of my post for May's, I Feel the Love Project.  My previous post is a card for Ashley's father.  This one is for her.  You can read more about this family here.

I used this adorable image from A Day for Daisies.

I love this image. It was my husband's idea to have her floating out of the water.  I love the idea, but not so sure of my take on it.  I really needed to lightly color over her so that she looks like she is in the water, not in front of it.  But, I didn't want to risk ruining the card because I needed to get this card in the mail.  I just hope that it brings a smile and/or sense of hope to Ashley.

This is my first card for the awesome organization founded by Madison Womack.  This month a wonderful Father is being honored.  His name is Reggie Nelinger and he is watching his young daughter fight for her life for the second time.  Ashley has a rare form of cancer and is currently undergoing treatment.  Reggie is struggling with wanting to be with his daughter and the necessity of supporting his family of six.  You can read more about this courageous family here.

Prima Doll House

Wow!  These Prima Doll Stamps are so much fun.

This is my second attempt with a Prima Doll Stamp.  I used this tutorial from Live Love Scrap on YouTube to make the doll house.  She has some awesome videos.  There is a really cute one with shoes and a shoebox.  That is next on my list to try.  This went through many transformations.  I started with regular cardstock.  It felt too flimsy, so I added chipboard on all sides to firm things up.  Then it needed a topper, then the sides were too plain and so were the inside sides and so on and so  on.  I am claiming it is now finished.  LOL.

This will be for my granddaughter's birthday next month.  She will be nine!  It has been a so much fun watching her grow. We have lots of fun crafting together and have been crafting since she was 3.  She is quite the artist and designs as she goes.

Prima Doll Stamps

Hi everyone!  Just discovered these gorgeous stamps.  Not for the faint of heart.  Pretty large as stamps go, over 6 inches, but lots of fun.  I knew I had to have these as soon as I saw them and they do not disappoint.

The tag was made using cardstock from my stash.  I colored her with Copics and paper pieced her tiara and dress, then popped up the dress and her with dimensionals.

Relay for Life Pageant Card

My sweet little granddaughter, Caydence has been doing pageants.  I have to admit that I didn't have a very high regard for pageants.  But after attending a few, I have seen what a positive experience it has been for my granddaughter.  Her confidence has increased immensely and she has made a lot of friends.  My daughter has chosen to have Caydence only participate in pageants that are "natural" and that also involves donating to a charity.  My daughter asked me to make this card for the Relay for Life Pageant.  The card is for a six year old girl with cancer.  All of the little girls involved signed the card.  Here is a picture of three of them.  My granddaughter is on the left.

Here is a close up of my granddaughter, Caydence in the Cinderella Pageant.

In My Garden - Sunshine Mail Challenge

Hi Everyone.  Happy Tax Day!  Hopefully you received a huge refund to go on an awesome vacation or buy lots of new craft supplies.  :)  At the very least, we can hope to break even, right?

The new challenge for Sunshine Mail is "In My Garden".  What a lovely challenge idea.  Gardens are so magical.  I didn't appreciate them until recent years, too busy raising a family, I guess.  Anyway, we have an awesome sponsor, Oak Pond Creations, who supplied this adorable little image.  They are having a birthday bash with lots of prizes.  Please give them a visit.  Now I have to admit this type of image was not in my comfort zone.  I lean more toward cute kids and such.  But, that is what is awesome about being on a Design Team.  You are challenged to think outside the way you always do things and then wonderful things begin to happen, like this little card.  I am really pleased the way it turned out.

I used copics to color the image.  At first, I was going to color the pot a clay color.  Then, knowing this card is for a child, I decided to go bright and cheery.  I added polka dots to the pot with a white sharpie.  My granddaughter's suggestion was to add some soft stuff to the flower, "just around the outside, Grammy".  I love the dimension it added.  I used a crystal for the center for some sparkly.  Then, while I was searching through my stash for twine, I found these googly eyes.  Oh, how perfect.   And, guess what?  I didn't have any twine, so a quick trip to Michaels was in order.  I found these cute buttons that exactly matched the pot, polka dots and all.  They are small, so the dots may be hard to see.  The sentiment is computer generated and the little word bubble is a freebie from Squigglefly.

This card will be donated to the Sunshine Mail FoundationPlease consider entering our challenge and mailing your card in.  It does take a little extra effort, but not too much and the rewards are great for you and a little one, too!

Fabulous!

Happy Sunday!  I have been wanting this adorable little Mo Manning image for quite some time.  I love her look, not sassy, just enjoying this fabulous life!  She screamed red hair to me, so that is what she got.  I used my favorite color combo, purple and green. She will be donated to the Sunshine Mail Foundation.  There is a card drive this month with great prizes.  Please check it out.  :)

Glimpse of Craft Room and New Copic Marker Storage

Hi everyone!  I bought a new Copic Marker Storage Rack from gepettocreations on ebay and love it!  I thought I would post a couple of pics of it  and my new crafting area.  Please watch your step!  Things aren't always what they seem.  :)

My New Counter Height Craft Table
I stand 90% of the time when I am crafting.  I am in love with this table!

Close Up Fantasy Craft Room Pic

The table, shelves and cabinet are all from Ikea.

I normally would not have all my cards out.  The cards are having a goodbye photo shoot.  They are on their way to Sunshine Mail to brighten a child's day.  I use this shelf to keep my work space workable.  Whatever is in my way, I toss up on the shelf.  Neatly, of course.  Then I can put it away easily because it is all in one area.

Now since we know a "real" craft room never looks like this, here is a view of the other side of the room.  Before thou throwest the first roll of washi tape, please look at thine own craft room!  I had to move everything to the other side of the room to take the "fantasy" pic. Actually this is on a good day.  I only tripped once or twice!  Sometimes everything that is supposed to be in, is out.  I know you've been there!

Now you can see what inspired my blog name.  :)
I use the corner desk to do most of my cutting with Grand Calibur or Cuttlebug.
I would really love to add a Vagabond so I can cut fabric and thicker chipboard.

Reality Craft Room Pic!

Here is a picture of my new Copic Marker Storage.

It can also hang on the wall.  How awesome is that?  I like the ease of use.  Easy to find which marker I need and easy to put back.  I do not want to mess with an individual space for each marker. Also, I usually do not sit at my craft desk and color.  I take this to my living room and set it on the end table next to my chair.  Works for me!  I like my new area and storage so much that I may start coloring at my new craft table when I get a stool or chair.  Since I wrote this post I did get a new chair and tried coloring there.  I like it.  :)

I also bought this tape gun holder from Gepetto Creations.

I was really apprehensive about both the Copic Rack and the Tape Gun holder.  You know when you see wood products and the wood is sub par and the finish isn't all that great?  I thought, oh no, I spent all this money and what if I don't like it?  Well, I was pleasantly surprised and extremely happy with the quality of both products.  I LOVE when things are so much better than what you expect. He has a lot of very neat stuff for crafters - ribbon holders, punch holders, glue gun holders and more. You can find him on Ebay and Facebook.

Well, that wraps up my mini tour.  I hope you may have picked up an idea or two that will be useful to you.

Have an awesome week!
