Stamptacular Sunday - Photo Inspiration

Hello!  It's time for another fantastic challenge at Stamptacular Sunday.  The challenge this week is to create a Christmas card using the photo below for your inspiration.

Our most generous sponsor is Paper Temptress.
I love her paper and use the Cryogen White for my Copic coloring for digital and rubber stamping.

I am using Holding Tilda for this challenge.  I created a frame and an easel for the "card". I kept this one fairly simple.  I used cardboard from cereal boxes to back the frame and cut the easel.  I attached the designer paper to the cardboard using my Xyron.  Yes! Paste also works well, but is a little more on the messy side. I forgot to cover both sides of  the cardboard with patterned paper before cutting the easel.   Oops!  I will remember next time. :) I really like how this creates a finished look.

Stamptacular Sunday - Winter Bliss

This week is really fun challenge at Stamptacular Sunday. Create a card or project that has a WINTER SCENE!  You can use a single stamp that is a winter scene BUT...if you create a winter scene all on your own your name will entered into our drawing THREE times!  Woohoo!  I can't wait to see your creations.  Our awesome sponsor this week is Saturated Canary.  The winner receives their choice of two digis.  Her stamps are so adorable.

I tried a few zillion (only a slight exaggeration!) winter scenes for this challenge.  I just couldn't find one that I was happy with.  I finally decided to try this idea I have had saved on my Pinterest board.  There a few cute variations.  One with epsom salts, a mason jar and a single votive candle and the other used a bottle brush tree instead of the candle.  I loved the simplicity and elegance.  I thought Tilda with Cross Stitch Heart would do well in this wintry scene.  I used acrylic instead of the jar lid to let in a lot of light.
